I am going to be brutally honest, it is FUCKING hard, BUT, as I have walked this journey and stand on the other side of this debilitating mindset, I TRULY can say I love my body more now at 180 versus when I was 145!
I have more self-love and self care wrapped into my daily routine than ever before! I truly honor, love, and support everything about my body mind and soul.
Let me take you on a journey- when I was working out five days a week and my eating was solely based on what was printed on a card for me based on my weight, I began to change my mindset & see negative things about me that I wanted to change or that I felt I needed to change because of my past and the social conditioning that I had been exposed to…
I truly felt my worth was based on how many times I worked out and how often, what I couldn’t eat, fix my body & to be a specific weight I would gain love and that is worthy of acceptance…
As I look back it is stupid bullshit that I put myself through. However, at the time I didn’t know any better.
After many burnouts with my body mentally and physically it was time to make a change. It was time to have a major that GUT check to myself and that’s what began my journey with integrative health school.. I knew if I was feeling this way there had to be more women dealing with the same thing…
Through my teachings with IIN Academy, I began to figure out how my self love and my self care was totally off and it was a smokescreen. I took a year to truly spend time with my teaching and peeling back this mindset that I had adopted.
It was fucking hard, it was challenging, and there were moments of tears and feeling like I couldn’t breathe, BUT, I knew deep down inside I was meant to take this journey so that I could take my practice and start teaching it.
Now I am truly happy with all my curves, I tell my body every day I love her, I have a deep intimacy with all my parts, my femininity is a beautiful piece of who I am. It was all locked away for far too long!
My passion and purpose is spreading awareness & coaching women on how to truly love yourself, changing the mindset/belief, and patterns of your past.
It’s about finding harmony with your food and it’s about peeling back the layers of your past to truly love yourself- your mind, body, and soul.
It’s about working out with intention, to fuel your body positively, and move with purpose.
It’s time to listen to what your body is telling you and slow down to really listen.
It’s time for self-love and self-care.
These are a few of my tips and what I practice daily-
• Canceling plans in favor of self-care
• Reading positive books or articles
• Meditation daily
• Taking baths and using lavender Epson salt or a flower bath
• Drinking a lot of lemon water
• Fueling my body with nourishing food
We can truly celebrate our body when we honor our value and beauty. It’s time to prioritize your own joy and investments in yourself.
