When you evaluate your overall wellness, you may look at your physical health, your emotional wellbeing, and the livelihood of your social life. However, how often do you take a step back to take a long, hard look at your spiritual wellness? The part of you that believes in more, that requires faith, and that brings you to know your higher self are vital to your overall health and can help you accomplish the goals you’re reaching for in other aspects of your wellness.

This month I interviewed Spirituality Coach Blair Dreessen on the Holistic Healing Podcast and we discussed this topic DEEPLY. We dove into the good, the difficult, and the amazing power that spirituality holds in each of us. We talked about our own spiritual journeys and the depths we had to go to to finally realize what was missing in our healing and personal development. I am here to tell you that this is absolutely an area that you need to explore- this is your sign to go for it. What is there to lose?

When you connect to your spirituality, in any sense, you are expanding your knowledge and understanding of the universe you were born into. You’re improving your mindset around health, healing, compassion, and more when stepping into the wisdom that spiritual wellness brings. Enlightening your spiritual self will help diminish anxieties, depression, self-doubt, mental blocks around food and exercise, mental blocks around abundance, and other limiting beliefs that are holding you back from living your best life.

You absolutely do not have to hit rock bottom to work on your energy and spirituality. You may already be feeling something nudging at you- its called intuition! Here is what you need to do with that feeling:

Journal about it. Every. Single. Day!
Listen to your body, your mind, and the world around you. Become more aware.
Meditate when you’re feeling triggered, anxious, happy, etc.
Understand that everything happens for a reason, and it is all working in your favor.
The more you start listening, you’ll be able to trust your intuition more and more.
Feel energy deeply. Feel emotions deeply. Take control and understand how they play out in your body and life.
Explore your purpose, your passions, your meaning.
